TRUST THE PROCESS

Our 5-step Mediation Process

Our pay as you go and personalized mediation process assures timely and Low Cost resolution of all divorce and legal separation related matters.

1. Free Divorce Consultation

You will get your questions answered and receive a written time and cost estimate. You will also learn how our mediation process saves substantial time and money and eliminates all confrontational court-based proceedings.

2. Starting Your Divorce

Our Mediator describes our money and time saving rules and procedures that ensure mutual respect, full disclosure of all information and documents, the best interest of any minor children, and an equitable resolution of all matters.

3. Getting Current

During this Step, your Mediator will get up to speed about your situation by finding out what concerns you most, what your goals are regarding the outcomes of mediation, your educational and career backgrounds, incomes, health conditions, and all other pertinent matters. Your mediator will also request that you and/or spouse or coparent provide whatever information and documents are needed to work through all the matters involved in your situation – fairly, inexpensively, and caringly.

4. Mediate Your Divorce

This Step gives you and your spouse a safe and supportive space to work with our Mediator to successfully mediate all issues involved in your matter, including how your property will be divided, your debts allocated, and all minor childrenchild support, and spousal maintenance matters. Most mediations without minor children typically take 4-6 hours to complete, while those with minor children typically take 6-8 hours.

With their extensive backgrounds in law, psychology, and mediation, your Mediator will help you and spouse or coparent communicate and negotiate effectively, offer different options and alternatives for resolving any disagreements, and provide legal, financial, tax, and other information – all directed towards the goal of ensuring that you and your spouse or coparent make fully informed decisions about all aspects of your matter.

5. Settlement Agreement

This Step ensures that all decisions made in Step 4 are included in a legally-binding settlement agreement, all court documents are accurately prepared, and you and spouse never have to go to Court. Our time-tested and all-inclusive settlement agreements and court documents make sure that there are no loose ends and are approved by the Court. You and your spouse can rest assured you won’t ever have to surrender control to an attorney or a Judge.
