Notice To Respondent
Because Arizona is a no-fault state, you cannot do anything to stop your spouse from getting a divorce or legal separation. Your choices as the Respondent are to:
1. Hire a lawyer and engage in typically hostile and costly court-based proceedings, or;
2. Try to complete the legal paperwork and deal with the court yourself, or;
3. Participate in our money and time saving “Flexible” program.
What are the Benefits?
√ You will never have to go to court – We do everything for you by email and telephone.
√ You will save a lot of time and money – We keep track of all court deadlines, and you and your spouse only pay the fees set forth below.
√ You and your spouse each get a special Questionnaire – This Questionnaire guides you through all of the legal, financial, support, and when minor children are involved, parenting issues typically involved in a divorce or legal separation.
√ If you and your spouse disagree about anything, both of you can arrange to speak with one of our professional Mediators (who have backgrounds in law and psychology) – You and your spouse only pay for the actual time spent on a prorated hourly basis.
√ You and your spouse get a legally-binding settlement agreement – You and your spouse are able to rest easy knowing that everything was covered.
How much will it cost?
√ Your spouse has already paid us to prepare the legal documents that you were served with, the court’s beginning filing fee, plus the cost to serve you.
√ Should you and your spouse agree on everything when answering our special Questionnaire, our fee to finish everything is only $500 without minor child(ren) or $600 with minor child(ren) more, plus the court’s ending filing fee (which in Maricopa County is $269, but less in Pima and other Counties).
