With this program, you and your spouse can:
- Arrange for a free half-hour consultation* with one of our professional mediators (who all have backgrounds in both law and psychology),
- Get your own and your spouse’s particular questions answered,
- Get a written time and cost estimate, specific to your case, because every case is unique, and
- Learn how Mediation with Out-of-Court Solutions works.
When you and your spouse participate in this program, you will both also get:
- The expertize of one of our Mediators to guide you through all of the legal, financial, tax, support and parenting of any minor child/children matters involved in your case,
- A comprehensive settlement agreement (see sample), which is a legally binding contract between you and your spouse that is effective upon signing, and
- All required court documents, from start to finish.
This Program is different than our other programs because it is ideal for couples that might have disagreements and need the assistance of a mediator.
This Program is also ideal for couples who are in agreement about most things but want help dividing their property (for example, real estate, retirement accounts, and business interests), assigning responsibility for credit card or other types of debt, and/or determining the appropriate amount of child and/or spousal support.
* There is no charge for the consultation. A credit card number is required to reserve time for the consultation, but absolutely no charge will be made unless you cancel without giving us 24-hours’ advance notice.
DOCUMENT PREPARATION WITH “AS-NEEDED” MEDIATION PROGRAM
There is no need for a consultation under this program because everything is done by email, mail, telephone, or video-conference – in 3 easy Steps:
- Step 1 – You and your spouse complete our online Court Process Intake form to provide the information needed for us to prepare your first set of court documents,
- Step 2 – We email you and your spouse our easy to use Questionnaire that was prepared by an Arizona attorney and covers all of the legal, financial, tax, parenting of minor child/children, and other matters typically involved in a divorce or legal separation (see sample),
- Step 3 – Based on your answers to our Questionnaire, we prepare (1) a legally binding Settlement Agreement that makes everything clear and final about your property, debts, parenting of any minor children, and support matters (see sample), and (2) the final set of court documents required to complete your divorce or legal separation.
This Program is ideal for couples who are mostly in agreement and/or have relatively little property and debts. It also includes “as-needed” mediation for couples who need help resolving certain disagreements, have particular questions or concerns, and/or may need special legal, financial, parenting or other information.
